The Jewel Online Booking Network is simply the ability to connect one Jewel System to another for the purpose of checking prices and availability and completing the Booking Process. But you are not limited or restricted to Jewel Systems, you can connect to any other supplier (Accommodation, Sightseeing and Attractions) through Tourism Exchange Australia or Tourism Exchange New Zealand and if the Supplier is not on the Exchange then they can be configured manually.

In 2011 JBS released the first version of JIBS for the Visitor Information Centres. This delivered an immediate benefit to both the Visitor Centres and their Suppliers reducing the workload and costs for all involved.
